HP DeskJet 2755e Overview
The HP DeskJet 2755e driver is the software your computer needs to print and scan with the HP DeskJet 2755e, a compact wireless color inkjet all-in-one from the DeskJet 2700e series that uses HP 67 cartridges and is eligible for HP+ and Instant Ink. How to Install the HP DeskJet 2755e Driver
- On Windows, download HP Easy Start from the links above, or the Full Driver Package if the PC will be offline during setup.
- Turn on the DeskJet 2755e, load plain paper and make sure the computer is on the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to join.
- Run the downloaded .exe file and follow the setup wizard. It detects the printer and installs the matching print and scan driver.
- When asked for the connection type, choose Wireless to add the printer to your network, or choose USB and plug in the cable.
- Print a test page and run one scan to confirm the 2755e is working. On a Mac, add the printer under System Settings > Printers & Scanners and select AirPrint.
If the installer cannot find the DeskJet 2755e over Wi-Fi, disconnect from any VPN (HP advises this before downloading and installing), move the printer closer to the router, or connect it with a USB cable for the first setup and switch to wireless afterwards. HP lists wireless operation as 2.4 GHz compatible, so join the printer to a 2.4 GHz network if your router offers separate bands. Before you install the firmware update, note that it includes HP dynamic security, which blocks cartridges that use a non-HP chip or modified circuitry.
